With this Fly-Through you can see the replacement option for the bridge from new angles. The Johnson Street Bridge “Fly-Through” was developed by project architects, Wilkinson Eyre, to demonstrate what a rolling bascule replacement bridge would look like from multiple angles.

You can experience the bridge as if you are walking along the path through wheel, boating under the bridge or driving over it.

The Johnson Street Bridge replacement option includes fixed bike lanes with a road surface that is safe, proper sidewalks that are accessible for everyone, a multi-use path that will be the joining point of our outstanding regional trail system, and a rail line that one day will be how many of our commuters make to work.
