Please be advised that in-water work related to the replacement of the Johnson Street Bridge has now started.
From January 3 until March 31, 2012 there will be limited navigational channel access in the area near the bridge as contractors work to relocate underwater communication lines and prepare for the removal of the rail bridge.
Efforts will be made to minimize impacts for marine users during this time. For safety reasons, harbour users are asked to respect posted signs and exercise caution while in the area.
Full closure of the navigation channel is expected for:
Wednesday, February 15
Thursday, February 16
Friday, February 17
